They can be too astringent, which is why the face can feel tight after those cleansers are applied. When the skin becomes dry, it activates the oil glands in the face to increase the oil production, also known as the protective barrier for the skin, which can lead to clogged pores and shiny skin. Using a cleansing oil keeps the skin moisturized while removing make-up, dirt and oil. Our active botanical cleansing oil will also add in herbal phytochemicals to keep skin glowing and radiant, before and after makeup.
